How To Handle Payday Loan Collectors

There are many ways a person can handle payday loan collectors as long as they understand who they are dealing with.

debt collector

If you do not have any experience in this field you might be feeling like you are talking to a brick wall and many times you may be!

We understand how you feel and are happy to share with you some of the experience we have acquired from dealing with these people on a daily basis.

Everyone qualifies for immediate help with out of control payday loan debt, find out how they are doing it!

Fear works!

When a person gets in over their head in payday loan debt they can become very frightened and this makes them putty in the hands of the loan collectors.

These collectors will use that fear to their advantage and really make life miserable for the borrower and this simply is not alright in our eyes.

There is a law that loan collectors must follow when trying to collect a debt called The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act or FDCPA for short.

It is hard to enforce this set of laws on payday loan collectors as they are not considered a legal debt collection agency but yet they are still allowed to act as collectors involving payday loans.

Since they all lack the proper schooling in collection practices they will use rather agressive practices and they tend to get away with all kinds of what we call dark collection practices.

Without going into too many details in this article the methods we are referring to are really just scare tactics they can’t really back up but they still use them as their main vehicle for driving home fear into the borrowers.

As you can guess this can create a really unhealthy environment around the person that is scared to death!

We have seen people do the craziest things to raise the money they do not even need to raise!

They race out and start pawning all of their family heirlooms and possessions like their TVs, computers and the likes, to actually taking out more loans to cover the current payments and we have even seen people put their houses up for sale!

Once these guys and gals have the borrower on the defense and worried about all kinds of things like wage garnishment, legal action and even jail time they can pretty much dictate what they want from the borrower and in most cases get it.

It does not have to be this way EVER!

The answer is so simple and easy and it actually will save you all kinds of money while at the same time eliminating your payday loan debt!

  1. I believe letting the collectors know that you are aware of the illegality of what they are doing, and tell them that you know that they cannot send you to jail for fraud, Telling them that you will not pay unless the debt is verified and collected by a legitimate collection company. this way they get to leave you alone and focus on an easier target.

  2. I actually have low or less knowledge about loadn and when reading this, I was kinda confused but I was interested. Please can you explain to me how I can benefit from this in a way I can understand easily. I will be very grateful if you can do that for me. Thanks so much for this great opportunity

    1. Hi!

I would be happy to explain!

WHen taking out one of these loans a person needs to understand exactly how they work before they take out the loan, and if they do not understand everything that is going on they should not take the loan out.

WHat happens is the lack of understanding will end up costing the customer in the long run.

      Hiope that helps!

  3. I tried to apply for a cash advance loan before but didn’t qualify since I am a sole proprietor with my own business.
I do however know people that do and I am pretty sure they do not know about this option, so I will be sure to let them know to check this out next time they mention it.
    This is useful information

  5. Hello Shawn,

I have read your article on How To Handle Payday Loan Collectors. very helpful thorough article this is. These pay day loans are scary and although I personally have steered clear of them, I do agree that collectors are rather aggressive and scary – but maybe that’s how they became. If they were nice and friendly, people would surely be more willing to fight them.  I have not heard of the repayment loan program but it sounds like a life saver. I hope this helps a lot of people who need it. Thanks for a very helpful article!

    1. I agree that they need to be aggressive but there are laws as to how aggressive is OK and they have a bad habit of crossing that line.

  8. Thanks for a very helpful article! These pay day loans are scary and although I personally have steered clear of them, I know there are many people who have taken the bite. The interest rates are outrageous and I can certainly understand how people get so scared because they don’t think they will ever get the loan paid off. I have not heard of the repayment loan program but it sounds like a life saver. Thanks for helping all those people who are in a crunch.

  9. I do agree that collectors are rather aggressive and scary – but maybe that’s how they became. If they were nice and friendly, people would surely be more willing to fight them.

I took a quick look at your Payday Loan Repayment Plan and I must confess that I’m one of those who had no idea this thing even existed. I don’t have any collector issues right now – but I had a brief conversation with one of my neighbors and he mentioned something about that, so I will let him know about this solution and the repayment plan.

    1. Hi, Heather!

Thanks so much for passing on our information, we really do appreciate it and know we are here if you should ever need our help!

And yes, many of these collectors are just that, mean spirited on purpose because it does work.

  10. I hope this helps a lot of people who need it. Some of those payday loans are so high in interest and you are getting into a debt cycle when repaying, especially on weekly payday loans. You will be paying so much interest that your paycheck will be short again the next week, so the loan cycle starts again. You can feel like you will never be out of debt. It is even worse when they do use scare tactics, you feel helpless enough in that situation.

    1. Hi, Anita and thanks for stopping by!

I agree that the cycle can just take off and before you know it you are buried so deep it seems there is no way out!

We do have the answer to that problem and are glad to share it with anyone and everyone who may need help with this kind of debt!

      Again, thanks for stopping by!
